We had a very even growing season in 2013. Although we had the lowest amount of rain recorded in 120 years the vines were strong. The dry spring weather provided optimum conditions during bloom for our vines. Everything was off to a fast start and never really slowed down until mid-September. Harvest start in mid-August was early compared to recent years, but with a mid-October conclusion, overall duration of eight weeks was about normal. It was another ideal growing season just as 2012 was. Quality and quantity were excellent.
