The initial estate vineyard was first established in 1998, on deep alluvial sandy soil on the lower bench of the Russian River. Renowned for its classic Russian River Fruit, the Lazy W Vineyard, on West Side Road, is nestled in the heart of the Russian River Valley AVA, in close proximity to its confluence with Dry Creek.
The 2018 harvest was a dream for
winegrowers, as the growing
season was blessed with long
periods of moderate temperatures
and dry conditions. The outcome
speaks for itself – 2018 brings
excellent quality wines.
